On Saturday England made it three wins out of three in their World Cup qualifying campaign with a fine second-half display against Kazakhstan.

The win was a little flattering, with England struggling to make the break through until Rio Ferdinand converted from a corner and the lead was soon doubled when Alexandr Kuchma headed into his own net.
