Bristol Rovers against West Bromwich Albion is the only tie that guarantees a place at Wembley in the semi-finals for at least one club from outside the Premier League.

In the last round West Brom hammered local rivals Coventry City 5-0 away from home. Bednar was on the scoresheet twice, with Brunt, Gera and Miller adding to Coventry’s misery.

West Brom are currently fourth in the Championship, one point behind second place Watford and four points behind leaders Bristol City.

In team news for West Brom, they are waiting on the fitness of striker Roman Bednar, but should be able to give starting places to midfielder James Morrison and striker Kevin Phillips.

In the build up to this match, Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips has said his side need to focus and be at their best to gain a positive result.
“We need to win,” said the 29-year-old. “There’s no point going and saying ‘lovely job, it’s the quarter-final of the FA Cup’ and get beat.

In the last round Bristol Rovers secured a memorable victory over Championship side Southampton with a goal from Lambert with just six minutes remaning.

Lambert was also the goal scoring hero in the previous round, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Barnet.
