Who ever written this page got it wrong regarding Argentina not going beyond the quarter final stage since 1986. They made the final in Italia 90 where they lost to West Germany.

Them odds are very fair i'd say.

I don't think Germany are going to make it to the finals though, they seem to do well beating the small teams, but against class opposition, lack any real world class players to step up to the plate.

I can see a England vs. Spain final with Spain winning. Capello can take England to the final, if we stay on track, injury free. We NEED Gerrard or Rooney to get there, so lets hope we go injury free!

Best chance England will ever have. Only team I worry about is Spain and if all goes well we wont meet them until the final (yeah I'm that confident)

The likes of Joey Barton don't belong abroad, they belong out of the game. I do agree with you about Jermaine Pennant and Michael Owen though, they have became stale and need a new challenge.

Any more? Offhand I can think of 'The Beast' aka Julio Baptista of Arsenal, Real Madrid and France but also a big blue and furry creature from, most notably, the X-Men.

Well, to be globally competitive, these players should also try playing abroad. They should also try their best in playing to some top caliber football leagues outside England. This will surely be one of the best football scenes to watch.
