Manchester United travel to France to face Lyon in the first leg of their Champions League clash.

In their domestic league, Olympique Lyon were defeated 1-0 by Le Mans on Saturday, which saw their lead at the top of the table reduced to a single point.

Manchester United have been in fine form in the Champions League this season, winning all of their games despite not always being at their best.

Man United boast the joint top scorer in the competition so far this season, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring five goals.

Manchester United were superb on Saturday, with what many would call an under strength side hammering Arsenal 4-0 in the FA Cup.

In team news, Ryan Giggs is set to play his 100th Champions League match for the club. For those of you that can remember, he made his debut in this competition in a 4-2 win against IFK Gothenburg in September 1994. Nani is also tipped to take part in this match, having featured in the each of the six group matches.
