In the first leg at the Nou Camp, Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty as Manchester United and Barcelona played out a 0-0 draw.
With less than two minutes played, Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito needlessly threw his hands up to block a Ronaldo header in the box, but Ronaldo wasted the opportunity by side-footing wide from the spot.
Barcelona dominated the game without creating much, although substitute Thierry Henry almost caught out United keeper Edwin van der Sar late on.
In the build up to the game, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says his side will be more aggressive in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Barcelona. Man United need to win the game to reach the final, as any goal scoring draw will see Barcelona through on away goals.
In team news, Manchester United have doubts over striker Wayne Rooney and defender Nemanja Vidic. Wayne Rooney limped off with a hip problem just after scoring in the champions’ 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Saturday, while Vidic should be fit despite having to come off when he was hit in the face by Didier Drogba’s knee.
Should Gary Neville make an appearance, it will be his 100th in the Champions League . Gary Neville made his debut in the competition in a 3-1 defeat at IFK Gothenburg in November 1994.
Barcelona will welcome back skipper Carles Puyol and he will replace the suspended Rafael Marquez in defence. Midfielder Yaya Toure is a doubt and Edmilson could replace him.
