Manchester United enter the game having dropped two points against Everton on Saturday. United dominated the first half and deservedly took the lead when Darren Fletcher ran onto Ryan Giggs’ pass to slot home after 22 minutes.

After that goal it was all one way traffic, with Everton keeper Tim Howard keeping his side in the game with a series of good saves.

Alex Ferguson will be concerned about how his side struggled to cope with Everton’s second half performance, which is being described as “highly-combative”. This gave Everton hope and the equalizing goal from Fellaini, when the record signing headed in Phil Neville’s cross.

Since that game Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he made the right decision to reject Real Madrid and said he expects to stay at Manchester United for the foreseeable future - good news for United fans!

West Ham fans are enduring a miserable run of form at the moment, with Sunday’s defeat against Arsenal being their third in a row. It may have been a different story against the Gunners though, with the game poised at 0-0, Craig Bellamy had burst through the defence only to see his shot saved by Almunia. if that had gone in, manager Zola will feel his side may have been able to collect some points.

To make matters worse in that game, striker Carlton Cole was sent off for a second bookable offence. With the large amount of injuries at the club, they could have done without having a suspension on their hands!

West Ham are currently in tenth place in the league with twelve points on the board, five points ahead of the relegation places.
