Newcastle United’s form has been shocking recently, having collected only three points from the last twenty seven available to them. They have won one game in their last twelve in all competitions, that being an FA Cup replay against Stoke City.

Their problem appears to be in the second half of matches, as they have being drawing the matches at half time fourteen times in the league this season, more than half of their matches played.

Keegan won’t want to admit it but Newcastle United are being sucked into to a relegation battle, with vital fixtures looming, they need to find their form quickly.

Manchester United have seen them slip five points behind the league leaders Arsenal following their defeat at home by local rivals Manchester City.

Man United have based their challenge for the title this season with an extremely solid defence, the tightest in the league in fact, having only shipped 14 goals in 26 games. Combine that with devastating attacking power and it’s no surprise why they have drawn the least amount of games in the league this season.

When Wayne Rooney hasn’t played, Manchester United have lost in the league this season, United will be hoping that he can remain fit for the rest of the season and continue his partnership with Carlos Tevez.

In the fixture between the sides earlier this season, Man United recorded a 6-0 victory over Newcastle Utd at Old Trafford with a hat trick from Ronaldo, two from Tevez and a goal by Rio Ferdinand.
