Portsmouth V Cardiff City Live in the FA Cup Final
Many people feel as though they earned a place in the final after they defeated Manchester United at old Trafford. In the Semi Final they beat Championship winners West Brom in a scrabby game and also defeated three other sides: Ipswich, Plymouth and Preston on their way to the final.

However Portsmouth’s recent form is not good, with the side Loosing the last four games of the league season, and not won in five, since defeating West Ham 0-1 at Upton Park on 8 April.

In team news for Portsmouth, goalkeeper David James is expected to be back in the team, as is Sol Campbell. They will be without striker Jermaine DeFoe who is cuptied, so Kanu is expected to start the game, with David Nugent on the bench.

Cardiff City earned a place in the final after a victory over fellow championship side Barnsley in the semi final. Before the Semi Final Dave Jones’ side Knocked out non-league Chasetown, League Two Hereford, Championship rivals Wolves and Premier League Middlesbrough.

Cardiff City’s recent form is better than Porsmouth as the side earned their first victory in four games on the last game of the season, 3-0 against Barnsley.

Cardiff City’s defence though has not been good, having previously conceeded three goals a game in as many before the 3-0 victory.

In team news for Cardiff City, former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is expected to have a place on the bench, despite missing most of the season with various injuries. Midfield prodegy Aaron Ramsey is also likely to start the game as a substitute.
