West Ham United have now moved away from the relegation zone and sit in the top half. Despite this, they are still looking for their first back-to-back victories in 21 League outings.

Last week a late goal from Nolberto Solano gave West Ham a narrow win and put pressure on relegation-threatened Fulham.

On Thursday, it was announced that Craig Bellamy faces another six week lay-off after undergoing a second operation on an abdominal injury.

The 28-year-old West Ham striker has made just eight starts since a £7.5m move from Liverpool in July 2007.

If selected, Luis Boa Morte will be making his 200th English league start, having formely played for Arsenal, Southampton and Fulham.

Carlton Cole and Scott Parker are set to face their former club. Carlton Cole made 25 league appearances and scored four goals for his former club. Scott Parker made 15 league appearances in the league and scored one league goal between January 2004 and June 2005 for Chelsea.

Last week Chelsea were beaten by Tottenham in the Carling Cup final after taking the lead.

Following the defeat, a lot of stories of disgruntled players at were reported, however since then Chelsea captain John Terry has publicy given his support to manager Avram Grant over his Carling Cup team selection policy.

In the league, Chelsea have won six and drawn three of their last nine games, since they lost 1-0 to Arsenal in mid December.

In team news for Chelsea, if selected, Shaun Wright-Phillips will be making his 300th club career appearance.

Frank Lampard and Joe Cole are set to face the club that they rose through the ranks at as youth players. Lampard left West Ham for Chelsea in 2001, Joe Cole followed him in August 2003.

In the reverse fixture this season, A solo goal by Joe Cole was enough to secure a 1-0 victory for Chelsea on 1 December 2007.
